Pangasinan schools win two gold

NSM REGIONAL COMPETITION

PANGASINAN’S two teams recently won in two championships for the Virtual Jingle Singing contest held on October 19 as a part of the National Statistics Month Regional Competition.

The teams from Philippine Accountancy and Science School (PASS) College in Alaminos City and Calasiao Comprehensive National High School (CCNHS) in Calasiao, represented Pangasinan in self-produced three-minute songs anchored on the theme, “Bridging Digital Gaps: Making Information Available to all”.

The PASS College in the tertiary level defeated participating teams from Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur while the CCNHS team in the secondary level beat representatives from Ilocos Sur and La Union.

Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) Chief Benita Pizarro said Governor Amado I. Espino III provided cash assistance to the participating contestants.

Earlier, Governor Espino issued the Letter Circular No. 2020-301 addressed to all city and municipal mayors enjoining the local government units to participate and support the NSM and WSD Celebration.

The virtual closing ceremony of the NSM Celebration will be held on October 30. (PIO/PJS)
