Malasiqui vendors told to take swab test

By October 4, 2020Business, News

SEVENTY stall owners inside the Malasiqui Public Market have been required to take the swab test before opening their stalls in a bid to stop possible COVID-19 infection inside the market.

Mayor Noel Geslani issued Executive Order No. 35 after the meeting of the local COVID-19 Task Force, as one of the initiatives to prevent the spread of the dreaded virus.

The first batch of 70 took the tests last Thursday, October 1. The next batch will be scheduled by the town’s market administrator and the rural health unit.

Vendors who refuse to comply will risk closure of their stalls or suspension of operation. (Ahikam Pasion)
