THE imposition of critical zones in 11 residential compounds in three barangays of Calasiao was lifted in separate memorandums of Mayor Joseph Arman Bauzon on October 14.

However, four households in Barangay Buenlag North were  recommended to the local Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Infectious Diseases (IATF) and concurrence of the regional IATF to be categorized as critical zones when one of its residents, a 36-year-old man who had no history of exposure nor history of travel tested positive for COVID-19 on the same day.

Removed as critical zones effective October 14 were the three household compounds at Purok 7 of Barangay Bued under Barangay Captain Carlito Dion, three household compounds in Barangay Songkoy under Barangay Captain Romy Espinoza and five households in an area in Barangay Ambonao Centro (Balani Melag) under Barangay Captain Armando T. Bauzon.

Mayor Bauzon  addressed his memorandums to P/Lt. Colonel Ferdinand de Asis, Calasiao police chief and to the barangay captains.

The lifting affirmed that the family members and identified close contacts of patients in their respective household compounds already tested negative for COVID-19. (Leonardo Micua)
