Repair of dump truck kills two
TWO mechanics died in Barangay Rosario in Lingayen while one survived when a dump truck they were repairing pinned them down.
Police investigation identified the fatalities as Elvin Viliran and Bleck Garcia. Romnick Ferrer survived the accident.
They were repairing the dump truck when the iron bar supporting the elevated truck collapsed, crushing the victims.
They were rushed to the hospital after responders managed to pull them out from under. Viliran and Garcia were declared dead on arrival while Ferrer’s injuries were treated and was in stable condition. (Ahikam Pasion)
