Dagupan, 13 towns in PHO COVID-19 watch list

THE city of Dagupan leads 14 cities and municipalities placed under the watch list by the Provincial Health Office (PHO) on account of their rising number of active COVID-19 cases.

As of 8:00 a.m. on September 18, Dagupan—an independent component city of Pangasinan—logged 64active COVID-19 cases, the highest yet in Pangasinan.

Others in watch list are: Bayambang with 16 cases. Calasiao (14), Binmaley (16), San Carlos City (7), Urdaneta City (8), Bolinao (6), Basista (6), Lingayen (7), Malasiqui (7), Mangaldan (6), Natividad (5), Sta. Barbara (8) and San Fabian (3).

The others infected are San Nicolas (2), Sual (2), Asingan (1), Binalonan (1), Labrador (2), Pozorrubio (2),  Laoac (1), Mapandan (2), Rosales (1), San Quintin (1) and Sta. Maria (1).Manaoag (1), Alaminos City (1)

In sum, there were 39towns and cities that are affected by the contagion, while 17were considered free of the COVID-29.

The 17 towns and cities without active cases as of September 18 were Agno, Aguilar, Alcala, Anda, Balungao, Bani, Bautista, Burgos, Dasol, Infanta, Mabini,  San Jacinto, San Manuel, Sison, Sto. Tomas, Umingan, Urbiztondo and Villasis.
