IN search of a locally-produced quality longganisa with a distinct taste and that will be known as “Asingan longganisa,” the Asingan local government installed three meat grinders in the town’s public market.

Mayor Carlos Lopez Jr. said the meat grinders were provided for meat vendors to use to produce the Asingan longganisa.

Lopez urged meat vendors to make longganisas at par or even yet, better than other municipalities that have succeeded in promoting their own, i.e., Alaminos, Baguio, Lingayen, Binalonan.

“We will assist vendors who will be able to make quality and tasty longganisa”, said Lopez in an interview.

Lopez said he will closely monitor the experiments and development to ensure the successful launch of “Asingan longganisa”. (Ahikam Pasion)
