THE provincial government and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan commended the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office and its director for the various citations they received from the Police Regional Office 1.

PPPO was declared as the Best Police Provincial Office, as Best PPO, Special Award, Unit Award and Special Unit Award in the region, Best PPO for its successful campaign against those wanted in law, campaign against HIV, illegal drugs, illegal gambling and campaign against loose firearms.

Police Colonel Redrico Maranan, PPPO provincial director, was cited as Best Provincial Director.

The citations were given during the 119th Police Service Anniversary of the PNP. (Nora Dominguez)
