FOUR members of a family in Barangay Quezon Boulevard in San Carlos City sent to the city government’s isolation facility have fully recovered from the COVID-19 infection and were already sent home.

The City Information Office (CIO) on Wednesday, Sep. 23, reported that the city’s COVID-19 patients nos. 18, 19, 20 and 21 were discharged except the 22-year-old girl in the family who remains in the quarantine facility.

The fifth patient is currently asymptomatic and is expected to be discharged upon completion of her 14-day (isolation).

The CIO, however, pointed out that the health authorities in the city will continue to monitor the family’s status during their 14-day mandatory home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 39 of the 42 persons identified as close contacts of another COVID-19 case in the city tested negative in their RT-PCR tests. The results of the remaining three will be known this week. (Jerick Pasilliao)
