3 family members of COVID patient infected

THREE female members of a family that already has one positive case in Barangay Caoayan Kiling in San Carlos City have tested positive for Covid-19.

The new cases confirmed by the City Information Office on September 21 are the 44-year-old, a 35-year-old, and a 13-year-old in the family, who acquired the virus from a family member, a police officer, who tested positive for the virus earlier.

The patients were all asymptomatic when they were admitted at the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital.

The police officer, case no. 23, a frontliner assigned in Camp Crame in Quezon City, tested positive on Sep 7, four days after he arrived home on Sep. 3.  He showed COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, difficulty of breathing, and loss of taste.

The police patient is currently recovering at the PPH.

As of last Thursday, Sep. 24, San Carlos City recorded 30 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with nine active cases. (Jerick Pasiliao)
