San Carlos City logs 16th COVID-19 case
A new COVID-19 case, the 16th, was reported in San Carlos City last Aug 17 after a two-week lull.
The new case is a 42-yearold male, resident of Barangay Mamarlao who presently working in Las Piñas City where he contracted the virus, was confirmed by the city’s information office.
The patient reportedly had a close contact with a confirmed COVID case in Las Piñas City and was confirmed to be positive in his RT-PCR on August 7 after initially testing positive on Rapid Test on July 30.
The patient was transferred from Las Piñas to Pangasinan Provincial Hospital in the city on Aug. 16.
The patient has no identified close contacts in the city. (Jerick Pasiliao)
