TO further strengthen the anti-criminality campaign, the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office installed 46 CCTV cameras at police checkpoints in the province.

Pangasinan Police Provincial Director Colonel Redrico A. Maranan said the cameras were installed to boost the Oplan Matang Agila of Pangasinan PPO program and monitor crime activities on the streets and highways, particularly movements of motorcycle riders.

Maranan said the footage of each camera is monitored at police stations.

Apart from the 46 CCTVs, 48 cameras will be installed soon at PNP border checkpoints in the province.  (Nora Dominguez)
