Abig Pangasinan Karaban benefits Balungao
ABIG Pangasinan Projects, Kabuhayan Palengke Karaban and Kalinisan Karaban, was launched by the provincial government on August 1 in Balungao.
The Kabuhayan Palengke Karaban is one of the major components of the Abig Pangasinan which aims to uplift the income of Pangasinense farmers, fisher folks, animal farm growers and other sectors.
The Espino administration spent P58,159 to purchase all the vegetables and meat products sold by Balungao small vendors for delivery o to the 14-provincial government-run hospitals to be prepared and served as meals for patients.
The Kalinisan Karaban also collected a total of 10,497.5 kilograms of plastic wastes with 311 participants known as environment warriors in Balungao. (PIO/DAT)
