Two young girls drown in river
TWO minors died after drowning in a river along Barangay Guesang in Mangaldan last Wednesday afternoon.
According to police investigation, the victims Jennifer Capua and Alliana Grace Biacan, 10 and 12 years old respectively, both residents of Barangay Poblacion in Mapandan town.
The victims were having a picnic along the Angalacan River with their relatives when they decided to take a dip with their male cousin in the deep part of the river.
The two girls failed to surface, only the cousin survived.
Their bodies were recovered at 6pm yesterday and were declared on arrival at the hospital. (Ahikam Pasion)
