LOCAL governments in Pangasinan are in constant preparation for the arrival of locally stranded individuals (LSIs) from Metro Manila and other parts of the country as part of the ‘Hatid Tulong‘ program of the government.

The ‘Laging Handa’ Network Briefing program, reported several batches of LSIs have already reached their provinces.

Relatives of LSIs who wish to avail of the ‘Hatid Tulong’ program are advised to coordinate with local governments so they can be listed down and submitted to the technical working group for enrolment and assessment.

The provincial government meets the LSIs at the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) drop-off point in Urdaneta City with the provision of two buses bound for eastern and western Pangasinan.

Among the latest arrivals were a seven-month old baby girl with her mother. They were transported to Dagupan City using a vehicle provided by the city government. (PIA Pangasinan/VHS)
