ANOTHER drug den in Dagupan was busted by joint operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the city police on June 9 in Barangay Bonuan Boquig, just two weeks after they swooped down and busted a den in Sitio Calamiong in Bonuan Gueset on May 26.

Arrested in that operation were six persons led by Christine Landingin, 34, a housewife identified as the maintainer of the drug den located on Severino Street.

Retchie Camacho, PDEA Pangasinan Team Leader, identified other persons arrested with Landingin as Sergio Raguindin, 23, a fisherman of Bagong Barrio, Bonuan Gueset; Wendell Dulay, 21, construction worker and Sergio Casilang, 30 (both residents of Leteg Street); Allan Natividad, 34, driver, of Paras Street in Bonuan Gueset; and Warren Gonzales, 25, of Bonuan Gueset.

Landingin was the subject of the operation whose house was being operated as one-stop shop for illegal drugs.

“This was the result of our unrelenting campaign, following up after each operation,” said Camacho pointing out that Landingin’s name cropped up after the buy-bust operation in neighboring barangay, Bonuan Gueset, two weeks ago.

He said the maintainer and drug pusher arrested in Bonuan Gueset was also supplying Landingin.

The arresting team seized eight heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu that weighed 12 grams, estimated to be worth P81,000.

The team also recovered the boodle money, drug paraphernalia, a cellphone, two motorcycles and cash found on top of a table.

The suspects are currently under PDEA Region 1 custody and will face charges for violation of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 15 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
