PDEA, PNP arrest four, seize P6.8M shabu

TWO high-value drug targets were arrested, and P7.4 million worth of illegal drugs were seized by joint operatives  of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police in a buy-bust operation in Binmaley.

The two suspects Roscius Dadacay, alias Rocious, 44, a businessman of San Pedro, San Carlos City; and Jim Resuello, 38, identified as a trader of Rizal Avenue in San Carlos City, were arrested in Barangay Naguilayan in Binmaley town.

The operatives of the anti-drug group confiscated four bundles of suspected ‘shabu’, worth PHP 6.8 million. Authorities also recovered one mobile phone, one L300 van, and three bundles of boodle money used in their entrapment.

Retchie Camacho, PDEA team leader, said Dadacay and Resuello were considered  high value targets (HVT) by both the police and PDEA, whose operations included other towns in central Pangasinan and get their supply from Metro Manila.

Camacho said Resuello used to deliver essential goods that allowed him to freely pass checkpoints, which made their travels and transaction easier.

Meanwhile, in Barangay Caranglaan in Dagupan City, police busted Melody Sollum of Barangay Bonuan Gueset, and Dawn Mariel Mejia of Caranglaan.

Police confiscated 16 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, worth P600,000.
