THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is offering a zero percent interest loan for all qualified micro and small enterprises in Pangasinan through the COVID-19 Assistance to Restart Enterprises (CARES) program under its Pondo para sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso (P3).

DTI Undersecretary Abdulgani Macatoman earlier announced that micro enterprises can borrow P5,000.00 to Php200,000.00 and small enterprises can borrow from P200,000.00 to P500,000.00 and charges only 6% or 8% service fees depending on loan period.

Macatoman said the loan program doesn’t require collateral but the business enterprises should qualify for the P3 program.

Natalia Dalaten, provincial director of DTI-Pangasinan, said the loan can be availed through the Small Business Corporation which is offering the P3 CARES program to help micro and small business enterprises recover from the economic impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
