49 more residents allowed entry

STRANDED AT THE BORDER

THE provincial government facilitated on May 31 the entry of 4th batch of 49 locally stranded individuals (LSIs) at the Rosales-Tarlac border for over a week after failing to present medical certificate from the municipal health office of the point of origin and travel authority from the Philippine National Police (PNP).

The stranded individuals were fetched by their respective local government units and were brought to their quarantine facilities for further monitoring.

The stranded individuals of the fourth batch were residents of Aguilar (2), Alaminos City (2), Alcala (1), Asingan (4), Balungao (7), Binmaley (2), Bolinao (3), Bugallon (1), Calasiao (1), Dagupan City (2), Lingayen (2), Malasiqui (3), Manaoag (5), Natividad (1), Rosales (1), San Carlos (2), San Fabian (1) San Nicolas (1), Sta. Barbara (2), Sison (2), Umingan (2), and Villasis (2).

The first batch of stranded individuals at Rosales-Tarlac border composed of 46 Pangasinenses were assisted on May 7 while another set of 59 went home on May 13. In the third batch, 52 Pangasinses were able to enter the province on May 26.

The provincial government also assisted stranded 39 Pangasinenses at the Mangatarem-Tarlac border on May 8 with 19 Pangasinenses on May 13. (PIO/SMDG)
