Shabu pusher nabbed in Dagupan
EVEN during the General Community Quarantine, there has been no let-up in the campaign of the Dagupan Police against illegal drugs.
Recently arrested on Arellano Street in Barangay Pantal at about 2:30 p.m. on May 20 in a buy-bust operation was Jesus Canave, alias “Jess”, 57, a store vendor, who sold one sachet of suspected shabu to a police anti-narcotics agent disguised as a buyer.
He was arrested soon as he received the P500 marked money.
When frisked by police officers, two more sachets of suspected shabu weighing 0.2 grams valued at P1,500 were found in one of his pockets.
He was charged for violation of Republic Act 9165. (Leonardo Micua)
