Second mass testing in San Carlos City, 15 towns soon
A SECOND round of mass testing will be launched shortly in Pangasinan days following the first mass testing that covered 843 individuals in previous high-frisk areas for COVID-19 conducted from May 5 to 9.
This was bared by Dr. Anna de Guzman, provincial health officer, who said the second wave will be launched after completing two more batches of the first wave that covered Bayambang, Malasiqui, Basista, Urbiztondo, Sto. Tomas, Rosales, Asingan, Binalonan, Pozorrubio, Laoac, San Fabian, Dagupan, Lingayen, Bugallon, Alaminos City and Infanta.
Subjected to throat swabs were Persons Under Investigation (PUIs) with mild symptoms, high-risk Persons Under Investigation (PUIs), frontline workers, health professionals and men in uniform.
She said the second batch scheduled for mass testing will come from San Carlos City and 15 other towns. (Leonardo Micua)
