CdV continues program for frontliners till May 15

SINCE the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) was extended up to May 15, Fourth District Rep. Christopher de Venecia also extended his program providing help to frontline workers in his district.

Starting April 27, the district office of Congressman De Venecia distributed food packs to frontline workers in 140 barangays of the Fourth District.

Frontliners receive food packs from the staff of 4th District Rep. Christopher de Venecia.

Each food packs contained canned goods, noodles, and powdered milk.

Among those that support De Venecia’s program for the frontliners in his district are the Pilipinong May Puso Foundation and the Philippine Amusement Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).

Among the groups, that received Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) from the De Venecia family were the media practitioners in Pangasinan.

“The media men are frontliners themselves,“ said De Venecia.

“Imagine a public health crisis without the media that gives the public unfettered access to information. Day in and day out, they are working, gathering information that could be relevant to the public under quarantine,” said. Congressman De Venecia.

The media men were given PPEs (face shields and washable face masks) that the De Venecia family, its entire household and a few friends made and produced by themselves out of locally available materials while under quarantine.

Earlier, Congressman De Venecia gave out PPEs to medical frontline workers, police and military men, including their force multipliers manning checkpoints in the Fourth District. (Leonardo Micua)
