63 PUIs die, only 3 positive for COVID-19

AS of May 1, the number of persons under investigation (PUIs) or suspected COVID-19 cases in Pangasinan that died has risen to 63, but only three were confirmed to have died of COVID-19.

The data of Pangasinan Health Office also showed that out of 311 suspected COVID-19 cases, 219 have recovered while 29 others are still confined in various hospitals or are on home quarantine.

Lingayen registered five PUIs that died; Bugallon (4), Bayambang (4), Binmaley (4), Urdaneta City (3), Labrador (3), Mapandan (3), San Carlos City (3), Alaminos City (2), Asingan (2), Dagupan City (2), Malasiqui (2), Manaoag (2), Pozorrubio (2), Rosales (2), San Fabian (2), and Tayug (2), Agno(1), Aguilar (1), Anda(1), Balungao (1), Bani (1), Bautista (1), Bolinao (1), Calasiao (1), Infanta (1), Laoac (1), Mangaldan (1), Mangatarem (1), San Quintin. (1), and Sual (1)

Some of the 63 PUIs died while awaiting the results of their specimen tests and when the results came, 54 were found negative of COVID-19. Three were found positive.

Dagupan City leads in the number of PUIs that recovered with 33, followed by Urdaneta City (17), Lingayen (13), San Carlos City (15), Bayambang (14), Malasiqui (12), Alaminos City (9), Bugallon (9), Calasiao (9), Mangaldan (8), and Sison (7);

Villasis (5), Rosales (4), Sta. Barbara (5), Pozorrubio (5), Aguilar (2), Basista (2), Mapandan (3), Tayug (2), Agno (1), Balungao (1), Labrador (2), Laoac (2), Natividad (1), Sta. Maria (1), Umingan (1) and Urbiztondo (1).

The 29 suspected COVID-19 patients still confined under home quarantine are in San Carlos City (1), Calasiao (3), Lingayen (3), Binalonan (2), Binmaley (1), Dagupan City (3), Malasiqui (1), Agno (1), Alcala (1), Anda (1), Balungao (1), Bayambang (1), Bolinao (1), Burgos (1), Labrador (1), Laoac (1), Mangaldan (1), Urbiztondo (1) and Urdaneta City (1).
