29 public officials, 11,044 civilians arrested during ECQ

CHARGED FOR VARIOUS VIOLATIONS

TWENTY-nine elected officials have been charged for violating rules and laws during the Enhance Community Quarantine (ECQ) in Pangasinan.

P/ Colonel Redrico A. Maranan, Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) director, said among those charged were:

  1. For violating Article 354 of the Revised Penal Code and Republic Act 11469.

Mayor Alicia L. Primicias Enriquez of San Nicolas

  1. For violating Article 151 of the RPC and violating Republic Act 11469.

Mayor Joel Fernandez delos Santos of Sta. Barbara

  1. For Direct Assault Upon Person of Authorship, Agent of Person in Authority and Slander of Deeds under Article 148 of the Revised Penal Code and Violation in Republic Act 11469.

Mayor Ramil P. Ventenilla of Mangatarem

  1. For violating Republic Act 11469 and the Bayanihan Act as One

– Sto. Tomas Mayor Dick Villar

  1. For violating Direct Assault upon Person of Authority, Agent of Person in Authority and Slander by Deeds under Article 148 of the RPC.

Lingayen Barangay Kagawad Vouniel Reyes and Sison

  1. For violation of violation of Alarm and Scandal case and violation of Article 151

Lingayen Barangay Kagawad Jerwin O. Canilang, Lingayen Chief Barangay Benjie Mararac y Salazar, Lingayen Barangay Kagawad Arthur A. Rosario, Lingayen Barangay Kagawad Edzel C. Mararac, Lingayen Barangay Kagawad Jaime Ferrer

  1. For violation of Presidential Decree 1602

  1. For violation of Article 154 of the RPC

Binmaley Barangay Kagawad Larry Sanchez y Soriano

  1. Convicted for violating the lawsuit of Direct Assault upon Person of Authority, Agent of Person in Authority and Slander by Deeds under Article 148 (Direct Assault), Article 149 (Indirect Assault and Article 359).

Barangay Kagawad Soledad Cabida y Elivaso
