THE Pangasinan Police Provincial Office raised more than P2.5 million fund for PNP’s Bayanihan Fund program.

According to P/Colonel Redrico A. Maranan, provincial director, the fund raised through the efforts of 2,464 police force in Pangasinan, will be forwarded to PNP Regional Director Joel Orduna and who in turn will be submitted to the national headquarters.

Maranan said the fund raising was in addition to the program launched by the Pangasinan PPPO’s Adopt a Family that assists families in need of assistance during the implementation of the Extreme Enhanced Community Quarantine.

Several families in Pangasinan are being assisted by the police for their needs as they are unable to make a living because of the strict home quarantine, according to Maranan. (Nora Dominguez)
