THE Pangasinan Police Provincial office issued a ‘No Take Policy’ directive to all police chiefs in the province following the directive of Chief PNP Archie Gamboa as it reiterated the latter’s order to stop all kinds of illegal gambling, illegal drugs, prostitution and other illegal activities.

P/ Col. Redrico Maranan, PPPO director, pointed out that the “No-Take” policy means all police personnel cannot accept donations or any financial assistance from those behind the mentioned illegal activities.

In addition, PPPO will also strictly enforce the “One-Strike “policy against police chiefs of a town or city where illegal gambling operates.

According to Maranan, PNP chief Archie Gamboa has directed the immediate arrests of persons involved in illegal gambling such as drop ball, pusoy, majong, jueteng, and other types of gambling.

One town police chief was recently relieved of his post after a drop ball operation was discovered in his area of responsibilities. (Nora Dominguez)
