Indian students to enroll at UL

MORE Indian students are expected to enroll at the University of Luzon after the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) adopted a resolution endorsing the letter of Dr. Mac Arthur Samson, UL president, to the Sangguniang Panlungsod dated February 19, 2020.

Samson’s letter cited the request of IIRMA Consultancy, Inc. a corporation engaged in recruiting students from India to study in the Philippines asking for a resolution endorsing enlisted alien national to the Philippine Consulate in India for the easy processing of student visa for those who will be enrolled at UL.

Councilor Jose Tamayo filed the resolution asking the Department of Foreign Affairs to expedite the approval of student visa of the incoming UL enrollees.

Tamayo said the coming enrolment of Indian students and other nationalities to UL and in other universities in Dagupan is a big boon to the city.

He said the latest development at the UL confirms that Dagupan has grown to be the center of education in the country. (Leonardo Micua)
