De Venecia salutes PNP, medical practitioners
FRONTLINERS VS. COVID-19
AS his salute to the sacrifices of policemen and health/medical personnel at the frontline protecting Pangasinan from COVID-19, Fourth District Rep. Christopher de Venecia, distributed lunch packs on Wednesday.
De Venecia how’s been closely monitoring the activities and performance of the frontliners, quickly organized distribution of lunch packs to policemen and medical practitioners in Dagupan, Mangaldan, San Fabian, San Jacinto and Manaoag.
Along with the lunch packs, the Cong. De Venecia and staff also distributed folding tents for policemen and their force multipliers’ use in checkpoints operating 24/7.
He noted the need for a rest and safe area for operatives assigned to man the checkpoints.
A Facebook post of the Mangaldan Police Station acknowledging the Congressman’s support read: “Maraming Salamat Congressman Christopher de Venecia , Pangasinan 4th District Representative sa pagmama. hal na inyong ibinigay sa Kapulisan ng Mangaldan”.
Dr. Aurora Cuison thanked also De Venecia for providing food to Dagupan City Health workers.
Netizens took note of the critical support he lends to the people in government tasked to contain and prevent spread of COVID-19 in the province.
Among those who hailed De Venecia’s timely support to government personnel manning the streets was former Bonuan Gueset Barangay Captain Angel Gumarang who posted: in his Facebook account: “Ibang mag-alaga at magmamahal ang mga De Venecia lalo na si Cong Toff De Venecia.
Another Facebook user Ysabelle posted:” Sana all kagaya ni Congressman de Venecia!”.
De Venecia said he already ordered for more face masks and other medical supplies to be distributed to policemen and health front-liners. (Leonardo Micua)
