Bolinao mushroom growers learn new process
MUSHROOM growers in Bolinao gained new skills in mushroom value-adding processes last March 2, 2020, at Mamoo’s Mushroom Farm in Bolinao.
The training was conducted by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region 1 through its Provincial Science and Technology Center in Pangasinan.
Jennifer Dauz and Rex Richardson Dauz taught the participants the processes to make mushroom tocino, tapa, and pickled mushroom. The trainers also enhanced the firm’s processes in making mushroom chicharon that addressed problems in the taste and crispiness of their mushroom chicharon product. (DOST1)
