PNP CHIEF GAMBOA’S ORDER

ALL chiefs of police in Pangasinan are on notice – the one strike policy against illegal gambling is in effect.

P/Colonel Redrico Maranan, Pangasinan Police Provincial Office director, said the policy is part of the intensification of the campaign is to stop gambling operations as ordered by PNP chief, P/Gen. Archie Gamboa.

Maranan has issued a directive to all police chiefs to stop all types of illegal gambling such as drop ball, sakla, pusoy, majong, other card gambling and to arrest bookies of jueteng.

Maranan said the one-strike policy will also cover all provincial directors and will not only be relieved of their posts if gambling is found in their areas of responsibility but will also be discharged with an administrative case. (Nora Dominguez)
