Owing to the big opportunities Concentrix offered to Pangasinenses, Governor Espino expressed gratitude to the BPO company for opening their doors to Pangasinan jobseekers.

“Thank you very much for the opportunity that you are giving to the students, the youth and the people of Pangasinan,” he said.

The provincial chief executive exhorted aspiring applicants from the province to maximize the job opening opportunities brought by Concentrix.

“Represent yourself and our province with pride, with dedication and with responsibility,” Governor Espino urged.

The governor also said, during an interview after the program, that the fusion of the provincial government and Concentrix may serve as a venue for other huge companies to partner with the province and assist other jobseekers in Pangasinan.

Meanwhile, Concentrix Senior Vice President Stephan Daoust commended the leadership of Governor Espino who also made this job fest possible.

“As the largest private employer in the country, we are thankful to Governor Espino for the opportunity to have this partnership,” Daoust said. Concentrix at present employs 90,000 Filipinos in the country alone.

Underscoring that Fusion 2020 is the first collaborative job placement activity of Concentrix with an LGU-province, Daoust noted that equal opportunities will be given to all applicants, regardless of age and educational background.

As the country’s largest province in North Luzon, Daoust added, Pangasinan is known to produce talented, world-class Filipino professionals and Concentrix believes that opportunities need to be available to talents anywhere in the country.

Daoust also noted that Concentrix Philippines, which has 45 offices nationwide, aims to hire as many Pangasinenses as possible, and no limit will be set.

It was noted that about 600 applicants arrived on the first day of the Fusion 2020 and another batch of applicants are expected to come on February 8 for the second day of the job placement activity.

Also present during the opening ceremony were: former vice governor Jose Ferdinand Z. Calimlim, Jr., Provincial Administrator Nimrod Camba, and other Concentrix executives, namely: Associated Director for Service James Burns, Director for Operations Support Jenny Rojas and Marketing Head Charo Espidido.
