THE Dagupan Sangguniang Panlungsod passed a resolution congratulating Councilor Librada Reyna-Macalanda for successfully steering the last Dagupan City fiesta.

This resolution, authored by Councilor Dennis Canto, cited her leadership as hermana mayor during the last city fiesta which was touted to be one of the most successful fiesta celebrations of the city.

In turn, Reyna-Macalanda thanked Mayor Brian Lim for giving her his full trust and confidence and Vice Mayor Bryan Kua for lending staff of the SP to assist her in steering the fiesta executive committee.

She acknowledged Councilor Celia Lim ‘s support for the staging of some of the events without city spending for them, support of members of the city council, and her mother, Marlyn Manaois Reyna, her husband and their family, for their support as well.

She called on her city mates to forgo their negative values in this new year and instead open their hearts for unity and love in order to make Dagupan a greater city. (Leonardo Micua)
