Pangasinan set to observe Bible Week

THE provincial government will again dedicate the last week of January as the National Bible week in the province.

This was affirmed by Evangelist and Christian musical artist Myra Jalique, during the Pangasinan in Action “Talakayan ed Kapitolyo” last week at the Urduja House ceremonial hall.

Jalique said the annual observance was institutionalized as National Bible Week in the province via an ordinance passed by the sangguniang panlalawigan for the province thru a provincial ordinance passed and approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan a few years ago.

“We encourage Pangasinenses to celebrate the bible because we believe that it has the power to change lives,” Jalique said. “This is the time that we need to read the Bible and not to fear, but to fill us with hope in the midst of challenges and catastrophe,” she added.
