Municipal employee shot by riding in tandem suspects
A MUNICIPAL employee in Calasiao town was shot dead by unidentified suspects along an interior road in Barangay Ambonao-Nansangaan Friday last week.
The victim was identified as Edu Gabriana, 42 years old and a resident of Barangay Lasip of the town.
Calasiao police investigation showed that Gabriana was riding his motorcycle on his way home at about 10:50 p.m., when he was gunned by suspects riding-in-tandem.
Gabriana was shot in the stomach and chest but still managed to bring himself inside the Parayno compound to ask for help.
He was rushed by the police and the MDRRMC to Dagupan Villaflor’s Hospital for treatment but was declared dead on arrival.
The investigation to establish the motive and the man-hunt operation to identify and arrest the suspects are still underway. (Melody Valenton)
