THE number of business establishments in the town of Lingayen are expected to increase to 2,000 with the opening of the town’s One-Stop Shop for businessmen applying for business permits.

Edgardo Sison of the Business Permit and Licensing Office said the deadline for filing and processing of applications for business permit will be on January 20.

“We will not extend the deadline,” warned Sison.

There are currently 1,500 registered business establishments in the town.

Applications for business permit will require permits coming from the Municipal Health Office, Planning and Development Office, and the Bureau of Fire Protection and these can be secured from the One-Stop Shop.

“We advise businessmen not to procrastinate, in order to avoid difficulties”, said Sison. (Ahikam Pasion)
