A group of recreational cyclists mobilized themselves to solicit and deliver relief goods for the displaced victims in evacuation areas.

Fred Arzobal, founder and president of the Mapandan Unified Bikers Club, a non-government organization in Mapandan town composed of bikers or cyclists as their recreational or sports activity, led the delivery of the food items and relief goods.

“Aside from biking, it is our primary aim to help people,” Arzobal, a Batangueño himself, said. “It is our goal to reach out and to care for others, especially to those who are in need,” he added.

Meanwhile, the provincial government, local government units, private organizations, including musicians, Paolo Emmanuel Cayabyab and his band continue to mobilize to solicit relief materials for Taal victims. (Melody Valenton)
