SHOOTING OF URBIZTONDO TOWN EMPLOYEES
URBIZTONDO Mayor Raul Martin Sison II called on the Duterte administration and the PNP leadership to resolve the killings of two town employees.
Sison is set to write to President Duterte following his call to bring to justice those behind the deaths of Bong Teniente and Jeric Caguioa, Sison’s bodyguard/driver, who was shot dead by unidentified suspects wearing helmets, in separate incidents reportedly by hitmen riding in tandem.
The mayor also called on the the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office to arrest those behind the shooting.
To help prevent more killings by motorcycle-riding hitmen, he issued an order banning the wearing of full face masks and crash helmets by motorcycle riders for easier identification of everyone entering the town of Urbiztondo.
Meanwhile, two armed men aboard a motorcycle were arrested by Urbiztondo police at 1:55 pm on December 5 in Barangay Angatel in Urbiztondo town.
According to P/Col Rederico Maranan, Urbiztondo Police that two men aboard a motorcycle without a plate number were arrested after seen driving around an area with firearms tucked under their belts.
Arrested were Angel Sabado Pagarigan, 35, resident of Floridad Camiling Tarlac and John Lawrence Capinpin Eugenio, 35, resident of Buenavista Pora Tarlac.
The suspects have been detained and are undergoing investigation to determine if the two were involved in the shooting of two municipal employees. (Nora Dominguez)
