A NIGHT market will be staged in Asingan town to add to the Christmas festive mood beginning December 4.

Over forty market vendors are expected to participate and sell their goods and food.

Vendors are only asked to pay P7.50 rent per square meter of the area plus P20 minimum rate for electricity or actual consumption whichever is higher.

The municipal government said the night market is intended to help boost the town’s local businesses during the season.

Judging from reactions on the town’s Facebook page, @PIOAsingan, that gained more than 1, 000 reactions and hundreds of comments, the night market will draw huge crowd nightly.

Among the vendors who stand to benefit is Nanay Jing De Guzman who sells bibingka.
