2nd Paskuhan ed Kapitolyo features ‘Cities of the World’

THE Pangasinan Capitol Complex, with sights and sounds of major cities in the world, began to enthral locals and tourists who visit the Capitol.

Governor Amado I. Espino III led the opening of the Paskuan ed Kapitolyo, now on its second year, on December 6, Friday, starting at 4:30 PM.

Pangasinenses and tourists can watch the “Kidiyam na Paskuan” (Christmas Lights and Music 3D Shows), Choir Performaces by the Colegio de Dagupan Choir, Calasiao Children’s Chorus, and San Pedro Chorale prior to the lighting of the main features of the Paskuan.

The Paskuan event was highlighted by the lighting of the Belen, Capitol Christmas Tree, and Cities of the World.

Special Events head Marife Acerit told the “Pangasinan in Action” Talakayan ed Kapitolyo” last December 3 that 25 buildings in the vicinity of the Capitol Complex would be adorned for the Cities of the World feature of Paskuan:

Capitol building (Manila City), Urduja House (New York City), Abong na Dayew (Ireland), PIO building (Mexico City), Malong building (Singapore), Palaris building (Moscow), Finance building (Santorini), Veterans Park (Rio de Janeiro), OPAg ENRO, OPVet building (Buckingham), PESO building (Beijing), Legal Office building (Rome), Capitol Resort Hotel (Bangkok), Provincial Library (Dubai), Sison Auditorium (Toronto).

The national government agencies participating are: DepEd SDO1 (Shanghai), TESDA (Seoul), Land Registration Authority (Oslo), Regional Trial Court (Paris), Girl Scout of the Philippines (Tokyo), Land Transportation Office (Istanbul), DOH – Pangasinan (Vienna), DOST (Honolulu), NFA (Sydney), DPWH (London), and DILG (Madrid). (PIO/MGNO)
