Soriano earned 25K ‘likes, 26K followers

This was the message that Gwendoline Meliz F. Soriano, 2019 Limgas na Pangasinan, posted on her Facebook fan page in her Miss Millennial Philippines journey, after making it to the top 10 finalists and was awarded the Miss Millennial Philippines Online Favorite award that earned for her P20,000 cash prize.

 “Kung alam niyo lang how happy I am whenever I read messages like — ‘You inspire me’, and ‘Nakaka-proud maging Pangasinense’ — feeling ko mission accomplished na ako,” she added.

Soriano received the award, because of the active engagement of her supporters in her social media accounts: Facebook fan page, Instagram, and Twitter.

Her Facebook fan page, supported by the provincial government through the Provincial Information Office (PIO), generated 25,331 ‘likes‘ with 26,487 followers.

She also generated the most number of likes in the Official Fan Page of Eat Bulaga that featured the 40 candidates. Soriano got 49.K ‘likes’ while the contestant from Pampanga was second with 43.2K  ‘likes’. The Miss Millennial Philippines Winner from Cebu province only got 7K ‘likes’.

Soriano was able to feature the best tourism assets of the province from landmarks, natural landscapes and seascapes, and products through her fam page. (PIO/MGNO)
