LINGAYEN—The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) recently launched Arangkada Pangasinan, its monthly publication for distribution mainly to far-flung barangays in the province through the police stations in the province.

P/Col. Redrico Maranan, PPPO director, said Arangkada Pangasinan, the official publication of PPPO initially printed in 2,000 copies that contain information on crime prevention, activities and accomplishments of Pangasinan PNP.

He said the police chiefs will distribute the copies of the eight-page newspaper to far flung barangays where internet is not available.

It is written in Filipino language and features current events, sports news, police accomplishments, crime prevention tips, showbiz and other Philippine National Police updates, Maranan said.

The editorial board is composed mainly of police personnel but local journalists will subsequently be invited to write columns or contribute articles.  (Helen Martin)
