A 21-year-old man has drowned after jumping into a farm irrigation channel in Barangay D’Alarcio, Laoac to test the water level.

Victim Christian Casipit, a resident of Maasin, Mangaldan, was with his friends when they decided to take a bath in the said farm irrigation project. One of the victim’s companions, Reymart, discouraged the victim taking a dip, said Captain Mark Ryan Taminaya, Laoac chief of police.

The victim was swept away and his lifeless body was found later.  (Ahikam Pasion)
