AFTER its initial planting of Golden Shower trees in Tondaligan Park, the Jayceeken is now embarking on a caravan to target public city schools in various barangays.

Dubbed as Manrosas Ka Dagupan, which aims to plant flowering trees all over the city in partnership with Pioneer Your Insurance, the group started on its trail Friday, Nov 22 by undertaking the project in Bonuan Boquig High School and the East Central Elementary School. Next in line are the Bolusan and Tebeng schools.

Jayceeken officials led by Oscar Arcinue, past president Aster Fernandez and Ernesto Go, program chairman, with Coordinator Botong Aguinaldo joined forces with school officials and student leaders in the tree planting activity.

Jayceeken president Rex Catubig said the project will eventually cover all of 31 barangays of the city.
