GOVERNOR Amado I. Espino III hailed the support of the youth in the anti-illegal drugs and anti-crimes campaigns in the province of Pangasinan.

Governor Espino joined the Gala and Awarding Night of Pangasinan Provincial Police on November 12 at the Sison Auditorium.

The Pangasinan PPO led by Provincial Director Redrico A. Maranan organized a film-making contest in support to their anti-drugs drive, dubbed “Kabataan Kontra Droga, Krimen At Terorismo.”

In his message, Governor Espino stressed that more than the awards and recognitions students received, the talents of the Pangasinan students and their initiatives in combatting drugs and crimes are showcased through their film entries.

“Please influence more youth,” he added noting that the generation plays a vital role in ensuring a better future of the province.

The provincial chief executive, on the other hand, extolled the incomparable service of the police force in maintaining peace and order as well their contributions in community development in the province.

“Dagdagan pa po natin ang ating sakripisyo para sa katahimikan at kaayusan sa Pangasinan para na rin sa kaunlaran ng ating probinsya,” Governor Espino urged.

Paying tribute to former governor and congressman Amado T. Espino Jr. for laying the foundation of excellent governance, Governor Espino vowed to backstop all the meaningful undertakings of the Pangasinan policemen that further promote the vision of the provincial government – “To make Pangasinan the best place to work, live, and raise a family.”
