Archdiocese holds TABIN 2019

TABIN 2019 : 1st Lingayen-Dagupan Archdiocesan Sportsfest was held on October 26-27, organized by the Archdiocesan Youth Council (hosted by the Vicariate of the Epiphany of Our Lord), in partnership with the JCI Lingayen Liberation II, and the provincial government.

Gov. Amado Espino III addressed the participants and  reiterated his call for the youth to heed on the good ways of living, and to instill self-discipline among them. “You are here to learn something more. Not just to play the sporting events and take part in other activities, but to realize significant things,” the governor said.

TABIN (meaning “to guide” in Pangasinan) staged the Peace is Possible Covenant Signing which was preceded by the community singing of “Lord Heal Our Land”, and the distribution of  Siklab Diwa Awards, to outstanding youth ministers from the nine vicariates of the archdiocese.

TABIN, the highest citation given to a Siklab Diwa awardee, was received by Mark Anthony Rosario of the Vicariate of St. Dominic. Other Siklab Diwa awardees were: Sher Pauline Palola of Vicariate of Sts. Peter and Paul (2nd place), Michael Angelo Petilla of Vicariate of St. Thomas Aquinas (3rd place), Dennis de Guzman of Vicariate of the Our Lady of Purification (4th place), and John Wesley Valdez of Vicariate of St. Vincent Ferrer (5th place).
