EIGHTEEN graduates of the 15-day Mobile Skills Training Program (MSTP) on tile setting and masonry at Sta. Maria town are now assured of employment.

In their graduation ceremony held September 30, the graduates led by Michael Agpaoa, thanked Governor Amado I. Espino III for bringing the training project in their town as he acknowledged that he along with his batchmates will seek employment with EEI Corporation, a partner of the Provincial Employment and Services Office and MSTP.

Moises P. Villanueva of EEI’s Human Resources,  said workers will receive P567 per day wage plus allowance and social benefits.

PESO Labor and Employment Officer Rachel Jose, said MSTP, a pet project of Gov. Espino is  an opportunity for skills learning and employment rolled into one,” adding thatthe project is Pangasinan’s rightful answer to the national government’s Build, Build, Build program.

Due to the high demands of request from towns, slots for the MSTP activity, both hard and soft skills, are full until 2020 (PIO/RRB)
