Job order gov’t employees to enjoy SSS membership benefits
SAN CARLOS – The city government seeks to provide equal benefits to all employees regardless of position by requiring all job order workers to be a member of the Social Security System (SSS).
City Mayor Julier “Ayoy” Resuello believes the new policy will help all city employees and should demonstrate the dedication and compassion of the LGU to its employees, who work with him to serve the city and its people.
Job order employees normally does not enjoy any benefits of permanent employees and are not required to be members of SSS and avail of other social services.
Effective immediately, all employees, whether job order, casual, or permanent are now members and are entitled for full benefits given by SSS. (Melody Valenton)
