THE Lingayen government ordered the closure of bus and jeepney terminal after determining that the management has a P11 million in arrears for lease of the area.

According to Mayor Leopoldo Bataoil, the terminal’s management has not been paying its lease for the last 10 years .

The lease contract was entered into with the past local administration of Lingayen.

Meanwhile, passenger buses and jeepneys have relocated to the area near the fish port. (Nora Dominguez)
