30th National Statistics Month celebration
THE Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) launched the celebration of the 30th National Statistics Month (NSM) on September 30.
Anchored on the theme, “Data Innovation: Key to a Better Nation,” the PPDO head Benita M. Pizarro said activities for the month-long event such as literary contests for students, both secondary and tertiary level, notably on Jingle Singing Contest, Oratorical, Essay Writing, Poster Slogan Making and Statistical Quiz. Said undertakings are in coordination with the Department of Education (DepEd).
Held recently were Job Fair, Skills Enhancement Seminar, lectures and trainings on Coastal Resource Management, Organic Fertilizer Production, Fish Processing, Culture of Tilapia and Hito, Institutional Development Training for Farmers.
Gov. Amado I. Espino III issued Executive Order No. 0088-2019 entitled “Creating the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2019 NSM Celebration in the Province of Pangasinan.” (PIO/RBB)
