30 trainees in Asingan finish 5-day training on basic haircutting

THIRTY residents completed the Mobile Skills Training Program (MSTP) on basic haircutting in Asingan town on September 27.

The MSTP on basic haircutting in Asingan town, the second one to be conducted by the Provincial Employment and Services Office (PESO) from September 23 to 27.

Dwight Bautista, head of Provincial Monitoring Team of all 14 government hospitals who represented Gov. Amado I. Espino III, stressed that the MSTP reaches out to provide Pangasinenses livelihood opportunities for which Asingan Mayor Carlos F. Lopez, Jr., expressed his gratitude.

Alex La Pena who represented TESDA Provincial Director Cariza Dacuma, stressed that there are short courses offered by the agency for free and urged the participants’ family members to avail of the skills courses for  easier job access.

During the graduation rites, previous trainees who have completed the training on carpentry and masonry in Asingan were awarded with free tool kits.  (PIO/RRB)
