MABINI – Fulfilling responsibilities rather than yielding to excuses, the youth volunteers in this town decided to push through with their tree planting project despite the rainy weather.

Renelyn Estrada, an advocate for saving mother nature and at the same time, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation president here led other chairpersons, together with the Mabini LGBT Community and police personnel in the said environmental activity.

Early Tuesday, the team with over 30 volunteers rode the vehicle provided by the police and went to the mountainous area to plant mahogany seedlings.

(Melody Valenton)
